James and Shirley (Meadows) Everly of Pattonsburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 21, 2010. A reception in their honor will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Aug. 22 at the Bethany Community Center. All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.

James and Shirley were married at the Second Creek Christian Church in Ferrelview by Rev. Donovan Johnson. James and Shirley have lived in the Pattonsburg area most of their lives, when not retreating in Donna, Texas. They were partners in farming for over 40 years, owned and operated Coffey Grain & Supply for over 10 years, in addition to the multitude of jobs they maintained outside of the home. They are the parents of four children, Debbie Daniel of Bethany, Rebecca (David) Nalle of Pattonsburg, Sherece (James) Eivins of McFall and Laura (Mark) Clark of Maysville. They have 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The Everlys enjoy their family get-togethers, visiting with friends and spending their winters in Texas. Please come and help them celebrate this momentous occasion.
