Dear Editor:

Gallatin is so fortunate to have the theater league and the wonderful facility with air conditioning, thanks to Frank and Aline Thompson. All the marvelous people in the league that work so hard to maintain and provide wonderful entertainment in our town. Support it!

Most recently the Children’s Theater presented the super three performances of "Ransom of Red Chief." What work those members, directors and students put into it and then...where were the crowds? It was such a treat to see the younger generation of kids do such a fine job.

Those in attendance had it all: the smell of popcorn popping, great lighting and sound, super acting and stage scenes. All for $5 a ticket and change for snacks.

Just wanted to say "super job" to all performers, directors, parents, etc., and workers. Hey, folks, don’t miss it again! Our town is blessed! You always leave with a smile. Thanks.

Ann Schweizer
