Green Hills Community Action Agency is pleased to offer the Weatherization Program to residents of Daviess County. The main purpose of this program comes down to saving energy, and in turn, cutting utility bills down to size for many low income families. All individuals or families interesting in applying to receive weatherization services for their home are invited to fill out an application at their local GHCAA county service center. After completed applications are received, they are placed in a queue using a point system. Points are awarded for a number of situations, including current heating and cooling methods, family size, and income. Homes with the highest number of points, those in the most need of assistance, are placed in the queue first. Green Hills Community Action Agency has weatherized thousands of homes within our service area. Over the coming years, the agency will continue these tireless efforts to improve living conditions for countless clients. More information about this service can be obtained by contacting your local GHCAA county service center, or by calling our central office directly, and toll free, at 877-611-7600. Marvin Meeker, Director of Weatherization and Rehabilitation will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the program. Comments?
