Heat, humidity, and high hopes greeted croquet players from around the Midwest at the Tulsa, Okla., Croquet Tournament held annually on Labor Day weekend.

Players were divided into three playing flights based on their playing handicaps and abilities. Missouri area winners include Debbie Breeden, Gallatin, 1st place, 2nd flight doubles competition; Jodi Adams, Kansas City, 2nd place; and Greg Adams, 3rd place in doubles competition.

First place, singles division, second flight also went to Debbie Breeden, Gallatin; second place to Ralph Bozeman, Hot Springs, Ark., and third to George Dakil, Broken Arrow, Okla.
